I noticed you appreciate escaflowne as I do :) Have you ever found anything that compares? I can't bring myself to watch full metal panic or some of the other anime of that genre because they are very long and old. If you know an anime that is similar please let me know :)

lol your right full metal panic isn't old, I don't know why I just assumed it was, maybe the animation style or my own stupidity. I watched the twleve kingdoms, and thought it was great. I like fantasy a lot too, it is hard to find a good, epic one. :) thanks
