Dude, all you had to do was apologise. I'm not your therapist, you're a stranger to me and I'm unable to empathise with you to any degree. I don't know why you would initiate a conflict with someone on the internet when you know yourself that you're not well. Talk to your doctor, your family, and I sincerely hope you can find a solution for yourself, but I'm not someone who has the time or effort to be counselling you when I have to deal with my own problems.
Anyway, don't worry about it, just think first next time before you say something.
Really, I cannot get over that comment he made: does he just want to make himself look like one of the biggest idiots the side of the earth?I praise him for having the gall to say that at all, much less on the internet. He is truly a marvel of the wonder of human irrationality.
White knighting is not an insult: it is a compliment. I respect you for having the courage to stand out, and I would respect roriconfan, if his opinions weren't ridiculous.
I understand, but do not respect someone just for having opinions: everyone has opinions, and everyone is entitled to say them. However, the fact is roriconfan opinions aren't just opinions: they are carefully constructed to be made blatantly obvious, target anyone who doesn't agree with him, and call them out later as a fool. Clearly you do give a "fuck" about roriconfan, seeing as you particularly lauded roriconfan for supposedly having the "unique ability" to say opinions such as how he would like to sexually abuse mentally challenged people, makes him different and special.
Well, unless your definition of posessing special opinions and respecting him for that means it's okay for him to be an asshole, then I guess you are right.
However, I do know what white knight means, and I know that when you are white knighting a defense of someone, means you are attacking all their enemies, insulting them, and viciously beating them down in front of their opponents. This is what you have done, and also what King Arthur did to protect Lady Guinevere from King Rience's son.
I'm not trying to offend people: I have literally stated that you seemed to be rather overly fond of that man, for no good reason at all. There are many people to praise for their opinions, far better people than you or I, but roriconfan is not one of them.
And no, I don't like offending people: don't put words in my mouth. And my venom is directed at an asshole, in this case roriconfan, who enjoys making fun of others and praising his ever wondering lines of OH LOOK ANOTHER EXCUSE TO BASH THE ANIME INDUSTRY and if she is...hold on, I'll take a direct quote from one of his reviews and let it speak for itself:
"So anyways, the plot is about a guy in a problematic school full of horny pussies. He gets to stroke them but never to bang them. And I don’t mean the cats! One day the obligatory mysterious transfer student arrives and he needs to take care of her. And by take care of her I mean to do all things one would expect from deviant porn yet never really doing it with her because this is a comedy. AHAHA-not funny. No, really, that girl is completely autistic and you can do anything you want with her without giving a damn. But he doesn’t because for some reason being obnoxious and a loser overwrites your teenage urges." -the delights of Roriconfan in his Sakurasou review
In that statement he explicits says: "No, really, that girl is completely autistic and you can do anything you want with her without (her: he has terrible english, btw) giving a damn. "
This genius statement right here speaks for itself. Not only has he insulted and degraded women, but also mentally challenged people, people who have difficulties socially, NEETS, nerds, geeks, otaku, etc.
Then if you don't care, as per your delicious ending statement, please leave and don't say anything again. It's evident you're not willing to really think through what you type before you hit the lovely submit button anyway.
I'm not sure I understand the narrative of your post here. You felt the need to defend Rori, sending a flood of insults onto my profile when I've quite clearly stated my opinion and pointed you to further sources that you can read, and now you're going to convince me you don't care about him? Then you attempt to appeal to my companionship before talking to me like you would a child. I don't understand what response - or lack of - you were expecting but that attitude doesn't fly with me, hon.
I also don't see how your list of logical fallacies applies to me in any way. Merely stating that the mass opinion is generally positive towards a show is not an appeal to the public, it's stating fact. A fact that reinforces that my own opinion is amongst a grouping of similar ones and they far outweigh the negative voices. I made that statement because you were insisting that my opinion was stupid, and that I only had a reason to "attack" Rori because I felt like being malicious, and not representing a voice of dissatisfaction with his constant string of bile and intolerance.
I've tried to explain it to you that my problem is within the context of his reviews, not merely that I disagree with his interpretation, but that his interpretation is inherently wrong. It projects falsehoods and fabrications that never appear in a show like Sakurasou. To claim that Rori is, in any way, unbiased or infallible would be disingenuous.
I simply asked that you regard my points (read my review that I have just posted for Sakurasou), and understand why I'm criticizing Rori's attitude to anime. They all follow a similar theme of prejudicial hatred, which leads me to believe he's watching anime to torture himself. I can't understand a person that would spend months of their time on something they find little to no enjoyment in; it's absurd.
P.S. Assuming that someone's opinion is stupid because you don't agree with it is a logical fallacy. I see no arguement from you that would cause me to doubt my opinion.
