I always used to love anime oriented towards a young audience when i was a kid. Back then, in the early 90's, it was rather popular over here in Sweden if i remember right. However, sooner or later i "outgrew" my childhood favorites. A few years later, my friend and i watched a taped copy of Akira which belonged to his older brother. Damn, i got hooked. Unfortunatly, it was before the time a decent internet connection became common here. Actually, i didn't have one at all.
However, during the winter of 2004, a classmate of mine in gymnasiet (Basically the Swedish equilent of Highschool) tipped me off on Naruto. I loved it at first, but after a while, i started growing bored of it, and i wanted something different.
And here i am, with over sixty shows behind me aswell as an Ultimate Edition DVD Box with Akira, the film that rekindled the spark, in my bookcase.
While these shows might not have many superficial similarities, warfare soon becomes a central...
