My name is Kate, just putting it out there.
I'm willing to give any type of genre a chance so long as the plot or characters manage to grab my attention and retain my interest. With that said, I tend to stick with the more fluffy/hard core themes rather than the "in-betweens" because I love the thrills and the touchy-feely moments.
I enjoy stories that revolve/reflect on questionable aspects of life and people ,however, because it is very hard to approach such a subject uniquely, I get bored and fed up easily with clichés that were not handled or delivered with care. Thus, I'll drop an anime like a hot potato for various reasons.
With that said, I do love the extremely ridiculous stuff too. Comedy is great! - just not when it's overdone. There is a limit to how many fanservice scenes I can stomach per sitting though.
I am currently in midst of a slump where I'm either watching something I have no particular attachment to and where I cannot find an anime to my liking even after searching list after list.
Thanks for reading my profile bio anyway! :)
