AoiTsukino says... Oh, really?  Yeah, I'm finally glad to be on summer break. Time to watch anime :3  In that case I'd probably search this site for anime groups. I've never been in one before.

Definitely get involved in the Forum if you feel comfortable doing so.

The forum is the real heart of communication on the site (you can send private messages to other members and can get involved with clubs and group activities). It's lively and fun there - lots of interaction with other members.

\r\n

But note that you'll need to create a separate forum registration ID - Recommended to use the same name as your site ID as the two areas are not yet merged (but that is coming sometime in the very near future as part of the site redesign). Just click on community link at the top of the page, and then choose Forum link from the dropdown menu.

Feel free to join some clubs or play some forum games as well - You'll definitely get to recognize and "know" other members and make friends on the site.

For games, just join any game in progress by posting a reply to any existing game. Find them in the Forum General Discussion area under Forum Games.

For clubs:

First, check out the Club Chat section of the forum! Next, look at member signatures in the posts - often various clubs the member belongs to will be listed. If one interests you, do a forum search to find the topic or ask the member who has it in signature ... The first post of any club topic will usually explain what the club is about and be posted by club founder ... there will often also be a list of other club members. Participate as instructed and you will be joining the club!

Most don't require anything but your participation in order to join. Check out the club rules in the first post, but usually all that is required is that you post your interest in joining, and then participate however is indicated in the first post: posting/uploading pictures or watching a specific anime at a specific time, or specific episodes at a specified time period and posting commentary.

It's kinda sad and kinda frustrating when there just isn't enough time in a day... Lots of times, I plan to watch anime and then the stuff of my life interferes, and the anime I'd planned to see never gets watched.  My anime clubs help me with that - since I'll typically put obligations before pleasure, the anime clubs give me obligations to watch anime!!!

If you can't join any RL anime groups where you live (and I encourage you to look for them, and find them, because it WILL enrich your life!) you can always join clubs here on the site, and if you join anime watching type clubs, you'll have an obligation to watch anime! A reason, as if you needed one! *grin*

AoiTsukino says... Hey :3  I haven't been on a lot cuz busy with stuff, but I think NGNL is great, although I haven't been finishing it.  I think I'd actually like the new AoT with Levi's story.

It's hard, sometimes, to fit in the anime watching we might wish to be doing, because life just gets so busy sometimes, neh?  So much anime to watch, so little time! I'm happy because tomorrow is a meeting of one of my anime groups, so I will be spending the entire day watching anime on a big screen in a room with a group of friends!!! Joy!!!

Hi! Good to hear from you again! Site says you recently started watching No Game No Life and Attack on Titan.  I'm watching NGNL with one of my anime clubs, but I've seen original AoT and some of the related anime titles.  I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, and am looking forward to watching  Levi's story next. (Attack on Titan: No Regrets - Birth of Levi)
