Only Yesterday

If you want a movie with an epic story you have to look somewhere else, however much this movie is a good one,it's not something epic. It's the simplness of the movie that actually makes it good. and why? The story: I know that unlineal storylines can be a negative thing for people, but if it's made in a good way than it's not something bad. The movie follows both young and grownup Taeko as she makes decicions and takes steps in life. But the story had to be separted that way too convay the feeling of the movie. The whole thing about the film is that its suppose to be relatable. Especially for a girl. The... See full review

Sarusuberi - Miss Hokusai

on

I love movies and series that have a tendency to differ itself from the typical stories that we see everywere in cinematics these days. Therefor, as I saw the trailer for this one movie I felt an enormous urge to see it. I had a picture of how it would be and was hoping for a movie that I would enjoy, however that, by the ending of the film, to be an miscalculation on my part. And why?  The story: The story, on paper, does seem interesting at first glance. Using something that seem to be rare in the world of animated movies. A mix of a biography and supernatural story. We get to see the evolution of... See full review

ERASED

Mystery is one of the most interesting things that I can think of when it comes to anime, anything fictional really. The hovering question what the truth is, what the secret of the story really is. It, most often, keeps you invested in whatever story you find yourself in. People that know me also know that mystery is one of my favorite genres and the one thing that I always love finding, especially in anime. So when I actually find one such as that, I will, without doubt, love watching and trying to figure out the true situation. Erased was not what I expected it to be, and that is a good thing. Let's talk... See full review

Baccano!

on

When you happen to stumble onto something amazing, something that fits your taste so much it's weird, that thing becomes rather memorable. This one anime happened to be that thing for me. It has gangsters, a theme that i enjoy way to much. 1930s theme, a period that I love and adore. Psychopathic killers, something I find interesting in anime and tv shows. And it has badassness, something everybody loves to love. This is Baccano. Story:  It is hard to actually pinpoint the story for this anime, sense it uses three different ones, but basically it's about a group of people, some of them turning out to... See full review

Planetes

on

Story:  I'll say one word, Space! And not the mecha kind nor the super cyper punk space, but the realistic and not-too-far-away space. It's about living and working in space and saving people's lives by collecting space debre. and I know that some people may be like - "But if it's not about battle and war Its not fun enough" or " Space is boring, I rather want it to be realistic." The thing is that Planetes presents its story so well and interesting it can't be helped but To get you stuck. It is a simple anime but one that present us to a close future we actually can relate and... See full review
