Hey there!

I joined the site quite some time ago but I haven't really done much with my profile so I thought it was about time.

I have been watching anime avidly for about 5 years although I watched things like Pokemon and Laputa when I was young. Laputa is probably one of my favourite Ghibli films since it has so many good memories for me. I found it once again when looking through a friends magazine and seeing photos of the Ghibli musuem with the robots outside. Since then I have enjoyed anime more than ever.

I also enjoy reading, fantasy especially. There is a vast list of manga that I have read/want to read but yet have had the chance to update.

Other than that I like playing games, painting and going to the gym.

Thanks for reading!

Feel free to message me ^^

The worst thing about Bleach is that the great storyline from the Soul Society arc has become quite shallow. That's a bit sad imo. I reached the actual episode of Bleach somewhere at episode 110 and I used to watch every episode including fillers. But my wounds are too deep after fillers like Yumichika's cake baking :D Thus after the Muramasa filler arc (which was about 8 months long so fear this name :D) I gave in and I only watch a filler when it looks at least a bit interesting because there are so many other anime I watch and I don't want to waste time.

I used to think that the loads of senseless fillers in Bleach and Naruto were natural in long-running anime until I started One Piece. Naruto (+ Naruto Shippuden) and Bleach are 40% filler with 414 and 304 episodes while One Piece is 20% filler with 483 episodes, furthermore, the storyline of One Piece beats both of them (at least in my opinion). I think I will never drop Naruto and Bleach because I have been watching them for 4 years but I have already realized that there's a bunch of other long-running series that tops them.

Hi!

A few days ago you asked about fillers in the Bleach topic. I see you are at episode 171. Well, Bleach only gets worse from there. It's at episode 304 now and has 132 fillers. In the last 100 episodes I think there were more fillers than manga related episodes. And most of these fillers were so bad and senseless. For example, Ichigo and the others were fighting somewhere and in the next episode they were in a totally different place and an almost year-long new filler arc started.

And in my opinion apart from the fillers Bleach is boring nowadays. As I see, the story has no perspective (and I'm not alone with this opinion). They use music mainly from the bounto arc which is crap compared to the first soundtrack. And what's more important is that there's barely any character development.

Now as I think of it I can't really tell why I still watch it. Maybe because it's hard to me to drop a series and Bleach was one of the first I started so I just keep on watching. If I had to rate it now, I'd give it a 2.5 or maximum a 3 (and if you take a glance at my list you'll what this means).

I've seen quite a few long-running shounen anime and Bleach is barely average among them (if I consider all the episodes).

Well I guess I understand you, the games are quite good and honestly laptops tend to get outdated quite quickly nowadays. It's as if they get worse from the day you get them.

I guess in your case practice makes master, if that was my trying it would be like trying to sharpen an ever dulling sword :P Not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to artistic skills.

Thanks for the compliments :D

You play Warhammer 40k? :O I used to play it alot as a kid, but sadly got away from the "pen-paper/figurine" version. So it means you have some sort of artistic skill. I'm kinda -- well awfully bad at painting, so you beat me :D. Have you played 40k Dawn of War II? Great game :D "For the Emperor!" >.<!!I also liked the regular series, where you fight on horse, with shield, sword and bow in hand. =D
