When I first joined Anime Planet, it's Original Focus was to be to keep track of all those popular long ass animes I spent long periods between binge watching and leaving them alone. It's odd to think I was young and Foolishly Watching Bleach when one month and four days after me joining, a complex and intricate anime like Stein's;Gate would be finishing.
As a fan, I competitively tried to watch anime, but as I and my close Friends who began this journey with me have grown up, I look less for those crazy over the top weird shows I started off with, and more into anime that explains difficult concepts with extreme examples, and while I started rating all anime as "Oh i watch it and like it therefore it's good cause I wouldn't waste my time", I've started looking back at them, rewarding those with brilliant story writing and fantastic perspective(s) of life, while judging the rest harshly. That said, I'm a sentimental person, and that's why most things i've rated 3.5.
Subtract 1/2 a star from each, and I guess that would be a better approximation of a show's worth, unless they are 5 stars, because on top of being one of my favourite shows, the ones i've rated have changed my life, Or Occured While my life is changing, and I would highly recommend them.
Clannad in Particular.
That said, I'm just a regular oddball, feel free to talk to me about whatever whenever.
