Greetings all.
I first got hooked on anime many years ago when while visiting a cousin. He had me watch Akira and Ghost in the Shell, and that's all it took. It's only been in the last few years or so since graduating college that I've had the opportunity to really get into anime, so I'm trying hard to make up for lost time.
I have to say I like more of the science-fiction and fantasy anime. I especially like the darker stuff or stories with lots of philosophical overtones. Any recommendations anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
