[Possible spoilers, in case I again forget to update this when I finish typing]
Well, I just finished episode 13 of Asura Cryin'. I have to say, I wasn 't impressed.
The art was pretty, except for the incredibly bad CG which seems to be a plague among the recent Anime. That probably balanced the good with how horrible the Asura Machina looked.
The story was... Well, it was sort of meh. They left the viewer in the dark for most of the series about everything, and the ending left the story completely unfinished, and definitely leaving a sour taste in your Anime-watching mouth.
In fact, probably the only thing that kept me watching, and that's gonna make me go back in the fall, is the possibility of a Natsume/Tatsuki pairing, which feels like it's dangerously close to gone, thanks to the plot developments later in the series.
So, all-in-all, I decided to lower the rating I gave it from a 2.5 to a 2 (out of 5 stars).
Now, for the part two of my title...
I started an Anime watching club online, over Skype with my friends. Seeing as we're ~3000 miles apart, I decided that it would be a way to keep in touch and still do stuff together. So far, we've watched 1 episode of Ah! My Goddess, and 1 of Dragonball Kai. Another thin we were kind of planning to do is a Mystery Science Theater 3000-like event for really BAD anime, but that hasn't kicked off yet.
Maybe if the nobody who will ever read this are interested in joining, I'll ask my friends if they're cool with people we don't know joining us, 'cause I'm certainly cool with it. It might be fun, gettin together online and watching Anime.
Anyhow, that's all from me today. I'll prolly update tomorrow!
Ja mata ne, Anime-Planet!
