Konbanwa! Mai desu! Well, I have just watched my first DearS episode ever, and fallen in love with it. Of course, I am such a hentai otaku, there's no way I couldn't have! ^o^ In any case, I definitely love it and am going to continue watching. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni or When They Cry is also a very good anime, and I am also currently watching that one. I also happen to be hooked on its opening theme, so I'll be downloading that. Ai Yori Aoshi is also good, though not as amazing as I had expected. Issues seem to be too easily resolved, but maybe that's just me. Those are currently the three anime I am focusing on, although I have been rewatching Lucky Star. But I'm always watching that show. Konata is my anime self in all ways, shapes, and forms. Well, I'll write more later when I have more to say! =^.^= Ja mata!

Hello. My name is Mai and I am an American. I am 20 years old and I am studying Japanese, so I love to write in it and speak in it as often as I can. My actual name is not 'Mai', but I will not reveal what that is. I LOVE anime, manga, videogames, anything of the sort, and have been addicted since a young age. My dream is to become a translator for anime, manga, novels, videogames, anything like that. Another of my dreams is to become the first American voice actress in Japan for anime or movies. I want to move to Japan one day, but that won't be anytime soon, unless it's to study abroad.

As far as favourite anime goes, I can't choose. All anime are different, unique, and each has a different personality. I love them all, and yes, there are some that I like better than others, but I don't really have a favourite one.

Well...that's pretty much all there is about me!
