Hi I am Airin but my friends call me a name beginning with a J. 

Like everyone else in the Anime Planet community, I love, adore, and nearly worship anime and manga. Despite that, I prefer anime to manga. 

I tend to gravitate towards the shojo, slice of life, and romantic anime genres. My favorite anime series are Kimi Ni Todoke, Say I Love You, Clannad After Story, Angel Beats, AKB0048 and... Well, that is pretty much it for now. I haven't been much of an otaku for very long. I started watching anime in 2008. The first series I ever saw was Special A and it took such a toll on me. I am sure all of you can relate to that very first moment where you watched that very first episode or read that very first chapter and thought, "WHAT THE HELL HAVE I BEEN MISSING?" 

Now I look back and I just say to my past self, "Baka Jaa Nai No?"
