I may or may not want to be a librarian, but I'm also really interested in biology and careers that deal with dead people. In my free time I enjoy watching anime (of course), playing practical jokes on people (only once has this lead to me being threatened with banishment from the dorms), lighting small things on fire, hiking, playing with stray cats, staring at taxidermy, and making stop-motion films. Also some other stuff. I'm currently obsessed with every single K-pop band. I like talking to strangers, so leave me a message if you'd like!
As for my tastes in anime, I'm particularly fond of bizarre arthouse series, really dark/gory comedies, magical girl, 70s shoujo, and guro.

I don't yet know about "helpful," admittedly. A-P has been a site I've been aware of but never quite looked into. It doesn't seem poised to be my anime listing site of choice (although it's possible I just don't yet know how to do what I want to do), but it's not like I use AniDB for its anime listing purposes, either.
"Ace?" Oh my, I'm not quite used to people expressing positive sentiments about my taste. You've rather respectable taste yourself, even if I'd personally hold that any rating for Eiken higher than the lowest possible on a given scale is a rating that's too generous.
I'll hope you're right about that manga matter, considering I just purchased a few off that list. Not to be imposing, but is there any in particular you'd recommend prioritizing?

I have no idea how people manage to resist a 1h movie that got pretty slendy review, though family friendly "children"movie may not be captivating to the big majority of this site... mystery to me... anyway went through your reviews. Quite sexy, keep em comming, love how you hooked me on Umasou.

Hello and thanks for your comment (even though I noticed it a bit late).
I've heard of that movie and I've been planning on watching it so I guess it'll happen eventually. Although I mainly watched "Song of wind and trees" because I realized that I'd been avoiding Shounen-ai due of the sometimes frightening fandom and decided to give it a chance. It did look less fluffy and... what's the word I'm looking for... oh yes, terrible compared to stuff like Sekaiichi Hatsukoi.
But now you DID make me a bit interested in hearing the best anime song ever! I'll watch it soon. Oh and thanks :3
