I'm into weird things. Mutants, robots, monsters... you know, the things that only the Japanese can portray righteously. I enjoy awful translations and cheesy voice acting. Perhaps this is why I am one of the few people who actually prefers to listen to the English dub when available. I do not enjoy generic character design. Impossibly large hair is not cool. Impossibly large swords, however, can be cool when presented in the proper context. I just don't get why the Japanese have an affinity for tentacles. I hate J-Pop but get a kick out of listening to the English translations of J-Pop. Sometimes I'm just looking for something that makes no sense. In those instances, anime usually provides what I am looking for. In spades. Sometimes I like to scream "Tetsuoooooooooohhhhhhhhhh" for no reason at all.
