Twittering Birds Never Fly - Reviews

I enjoy this story every time I read it. There are lots of characters, but each one is introduced so slowly that you can keep them all straight. It really is a sad story. Genuinely. I think I cry every time I read this. It never stops me from reading it, though.

I've read a lot of BL Manga, I can say that this is THE BEST BL MANGA out there (A MASTERPIECE). This story has the best storytelling and characters,, and has a place in my heart like no other. Please read if you enjoy deep stories that tears your heart into pieces.

Would easily recommend. One of my favorite mangas ever. The main characters are so likeable. The author is able to slip in funny moments in such a serious series. The emotional moments are so well written. The movie was also able to portray the source material so well. 

My favorite yaoi of all time. I've been reading BL for over 10 years, and this one.... I just can’t compare it to anything else. It tears my heart into shreds and I have so much love for doumeki and yashiro. There are some really deep and symbolic moments tucked into the art and expressions.  I have stopped and stared at certain panels to absorb that moment. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this manga since I first read it years ago. 

If you want something heartwrenchingly beautiful, this manga is for you.

I've read but I've also watched several yaois, and I can tell you this is one of the best I read of this particular genre. Yaois usually don't have a good plot in my humble opinion so, for me, I'm always happy to encounter something like this. The characters have depth, specially because of their trauma, there's character development to go around, specifically when it comes to the MCs. I really like the fact that it's not focused solemnly on sex, but that there's also a good story to back it out. Art wise, it looks very clean, backgrounds looks very good and the dialogues are well conducted. Overall a 7/10.
