Kokoro Hanasaki is a girl in love with a boy she hasn't seen in ages. As a child she was sheltered from a car accident by a boy who suffered scars on his back in the process, and she's wanted to see and thank him ever since. Meanwhile, at school, a new transfer student has arrived. His name's Inuyama Kei and he's a bumbling, quiet boy; but Kokoro would rather be near the handsome Shun-senpai. Whose heart belongs to Kokoro, and will she meet the boy of her past?
Sakurako is beautiful; since she was young, she's always received attention from boys. One boy in particular always interested her, however - he constructed origami and was considered an outcast by his peers. He was injured in an accident and Sakurako believes it was her fault, and thus she's always wished to find him again someday to apologize. Now older and wiser, Sakurako has garnered the attention of a dark-haired young man who refuses to ignore her rejections. Will Sakurako ever find the boy of her past?
Though Eien and Tonari don't have a huge amount in common, they both involve a memory of a boy each protagonist would like to see, and a mysterious boy who is now in the picture. In addition both are fairly generic shoujo/romance one shots, so fans of one should enjoy the other.
