Fujio and Mitsuo are two would-be wrestlers who spend their days practicing moves near Dark Fuji, a man-made garbage mountain where bodies are buried alongside industrial waste. Unfortunately, years of contamination lead to zombies rising from the pile, and as Tokyo quickly becomes overrun by the horde, Fujio and Mitsuo are separated. As society falls, will the duo ever see each other again?
Cinderalla's happy life as a waitress at her father's restaurant is interrupted one day when the man suddenly dies. Luckily, he is reanimated as a zombie that very night, and life continues on as usual... at least, it would have, had the perpetually-hungry Caroline and her two zombie daughters not shown up and married Cinderalla's newly-undead relative! Now Cinderalla must cater to her demanding new family as well as fulfill her restaurant duties, much to her dismay. With the help of a rat and a fledgling fairy, can the overworked beauty break free from her oppressive stepfamily and find her own prince charming?
Tokyo Zombie and Fetus Collection are structured very similarly: both take a gory/taboo subject and run with it, until they end up with as bizarre and irreverent a story as possible. Both feature very strange competitions and oodles of shock value.
Zombies are on the loose! While these blue-fleshed, bloodthirsty creatures roam the land, one family does its best to avoid them while dealing with daily life. Whether it's dodging them while picking radishes, retrieving clothing from the undead that used to be acquaintances, or trying to teach the decaying how to hold a teacup, this typical family's life is anything but ordinary!
