The main reason for this recommendation is the fact that male lead in both series gets a loli dumped on him and now has to take care of her. The guy actually proves himself to be not half bad at it and somehow it lead to the girl becoming romantically interested in him. If you're familiar with one of those manga, then what I wrote above should be enough to spark your interest or turn you off.

This one is hard to explain. I mean, I can't offer any real reason for recommending those two series to each other (other than them being post NGE series went awesome), but I do believe that you might one like if you liked the other.

Elni and Darumiru are very similar characters. Both of them are lolis who claim to be god (which might actually be true) and who like to play around. If you liked one of those two characters, you might like the other one too, so giving the manga which you haven't read yet a go, might be a good idea. Additionally the male leads in both of the series have an interesting attitude.
