Aki lives a charmed life. Popular, beautiful, athletic, and at the top of her class, she rules the school, and at home, her younger brother Sora caters to her every whim. Her younger sister Nami, however doesn't have it so easy. The small-chested and sarcastic girl is in love with her best friend - who has a crush on Nami's twin brother Sora - but her life could be worse: she could be her brother. Slight, feminine, and bullied by his twin, Sora cooks and cleans for the entire family. In addition, he harbors a deep-seated lust for his older sister, Aki. Will Sora get over his fantasies or give in to his desires? Will Nami ever win the heart of her best friend? And what does Aki want out of all of this?
Strawberry Panic and Aki Sora both involve sexual frustration between two female characters and the desire to experience more. There are unsure situations and tense moments.
In Strawberry Panic and Hitohira, the heroine is having problems making new friends, fitting in, and adjusting at a new school. Strawberry Panic is more about general high school problems whereas Hitohira focuses mainly on Mugi Asai's problem of not being able to speak in public.
With a noticeable tan and bleached hair, Momo Adachi is a high school student who is frequently misunderstood by her classmates. She's accused of being a playgirl and is the subject of many rumors, most of which originate from her ‘best friend' Sae who is jealous of Momo due to them having a crush on the same boy. Momo's life only gets worse when Kairi Okayasu, who she once saved from drowning, decides to make her his own. Kairi coming into Momo's life only encourages Sae to spread more rumors about Momo and Kairi while going after Toji herself, creating quite a complicated situation for everyone involved.
In both Strawberry Panic and Peach Girl, the main heroine is sought after by multiple characters, and she can't decide who to choose. Both series also revolve around high school drama. Even though Strawberry Panic is a girl/girl series Peach Girl has all of the components that make the high school drama a reality in Strawberry Panic. I think the two series are very complementary of one another.
