The reason why these two manga are similar is because both deal with a female who is entering a marriage deal with a male because of her money issues/poor issues and tada~ theres the similarity

Considering it's written by the same person, it is not surprising that the two would have coinciding themes. Both have the semi-forbidden love feel, the barrier of the heart (if you will). Both main characters have a clumsy air about them and both have some sort of creeper hanging on to a past relationship with said heroine and wishing for things that could have been. I must say however, the creeper in HdBwF is much more excessive *gets chill*. Liked him at first but...ANYWAY.

Both of these stories start out with the main female character making a deal with the main male character that causes them to leave behind their poverty/common-ness and enter a world of nobility/royalty. Eventually this leads to romances and love triangles that get pretty intense. They have a similar feel, in both story and art, so if you like one, you may enjoy the other.

Both of these series follow the development of a common girl who is suddenly lifted to the lap of luxury. The transformation is difficult for both of the heroines, and enemies are often disguised as friends, but neither one is easily broken.  If you like rags to riches stories, either of these is a good choice.

The female leads in these stories experience a huge change in social status because of their relationships with powerful young men. It's a definite adjustment for each of them: learning how to carry herself, what to say, and how to make her boyfriend/husband look better.
