Kyoko moves to the big city with the prince of her dreams Shotaro; he wants to make it big in the entertainment business, so she works hard at many different jobs to support him as he achieves his dream. In Wallflower, it is a guy that Sunako likes who tells her she's ugly. Both mangas are VERY FUNNY, relying on the main characters' somewhat dark sides to be a driving force. In both mangas, the main characters are afraid to fall in love/ avoid love at all costs because of what they have experienced. Truly, both mangas are about one girl's trials and tribulations on her journey to rediscover what love and life is. Oh and both feature really attractive guys, as an added bonus.
