Synopsis:

Hinamori Amu is a stylish punk rock girl who is liked and feared by her peers, but there's just one problem: she's actually a shy and quiet girl who can't seem to drop her self-fabricated facade! But when Amu finds three eggs in her bed, she had no idea her life would change forever. Out of the eggs pop Ran, Miki and Su, Amu's Guardian Charas; these being represent parts of Amu that she wishes she could be, even allowing Amu to transform into those parts at will! Now, with pressure from the other Guardians (including her crush, Hotori) to join their midst, dark sides of the psyche known as X Eggs to seal, and nefarious forces after a wish-granting egg known as the embryo, Amu's life has officially become more complicated!

Tokyo Mew Mew

Tokyo Mew Mew

Momomiya Ichigo was just trying to enjoy a date with the boy she liked, Aoyama Masaya.  Instead, she ended up conscripted into a struggle against aliens intent on wiping humanity from the earth!  The Mew Project has infused five young girls with the DNA of endangered creatures, and given them special powers to fight chimera anima, earth animals transformed into monsters by alien parasites. Somehow, Ichigo has to get her teammates to work together, battle chimera anima, and fend off the attacks (and advances?) of the aliens themselves. And that's in addition to keeping her identity secret and improving her relationship with Masaya. Not to mention, just who is that mysterious Blue Knight anyway?

If you like Magical Girl and Shoujo, maybe Romance and a bit of Comedy, too, Shugo Chara and TMM fit your taste like perfekt. The main character in Shugo is a kind of cute and shy girl who tries to find her true self which reminded me a bit of Ichigo (TMM).

Tokyo Mew Mew and Shugo Chara each have strong female protangonists that are able to transform to help the world and fight for what they believe in.  Both sort of involve love triangles but mostly the series revolve around developing friendships and strength of character.

La Corda d'Oro

La Corda d'Oro

Hino Kahoko is a sophomore at a high school which caters to both general students, and the musically elite. On the first day of class, Hino meets a fairy named Lili and is entrusted with a magical violin; this violin has the ability to express the music in someone’s heart, even if they do not possess the talent for playing the instrument. With the violin in her care, Hino must now compete in a musical competition, but the guilt of not having true musical talent consumes her. Lili’s dream is to bring happiness to people with music, but Hino isn’t sure she has what it takes to be the one to do it. Can Hino perservere, or will she abandon Lili’s dream?

La Cordo d'Oro and Shugo Chara have a light feel to them while also drawing in some heavy issues for the heroines.  There are little fairies that try and help the heroines realize their own potential and strive to accomplish that and become strong in themselves.

Pixie Pop and Shugo Chara! both have little fairy-like creatures helping them. Amu meets Ran, Miki and Su when she wishes to be more like her ''real'' self. Mayu has Puchou who she meets when she drinks Puchou's juice to grow bigger. They both get into serious troubles regarding those little fairies, for Amu it are the sudden chara-changes and for Mayu it is if if she drinks something something happens to her body and she can turn invisible for example. Another thing that they have in common is that the both got rejected by the man of their dreams and try to make him fall in love with them. Very cute shoujo-stories which you can enjoy very much.
