Both of these series are about a boy who has a close relationship with a dead girl ....who isn't all that dead. Both undead girls have a dark past. In Tasogare the girl's past is a huge mystery which dominates much of the manga. In Sankarea, the girl's past is made evident early on, but the big mystery is her future.
Both mangas involve a highschool romance with an undead girl, but I feel the two largely focus on different themes/genres and such. The two can feel so similar, yet so different depending on how I look at them, and maybe because of that I feel you'll definitely enjoy one if you enjoyed the other.
Human boy falls in love with a non human girl, but the non human part actually plays quite a big role and both stories don't shy away from the actual horror aspects of a ghost/zombie while still having a cute couple dynamic between the main two
Aoyama Keita had a crush on his classmate Haida Monako, but he was too shy to tell her. One day, when Haida suddenly passes away, he is finally able to confess to her through a letter he places at her funeral. Little does Keita know, she returns as a zombie and blackmails him into letting her stay with him with the threat that she will tell everyone about the love letter if he doesn't. Now Keita has to hide Haida from his parents, classmates and the outside world because everyone else thinks she is dead. To make matters worse, as a living dead, she craves flesh from time to time and Haida doesn’t care if it comes from Keita…

Both stories are about a boy who winds up having a zombie girlfriend move in with him after she dies & comes back.
Both manga are about guys who encounter beautiful girls who've become an undead being. Both are very similar as they attempt to keep these girls in their homes while trying to live their lives as normally as possible.

I don't wanna say that they feature a cute zombie-girl and they start in the same way, but they do. Consider that Hatsukoi Zombie has much more fanservice compared to Sankarea, but they share some traits.

Months and years pass, and a zombie hunter named Niki travels around the world with his partner. Niki faces a horde of mutated zombies, psycho zombies, and odd zombie "creatures" as he tries to find a place to live peacefully.
