Both Soul Eater and Rust Blaster play with the idea of people being able to turn in to weapons. With Rust Blaster, transformation is a little different, though. But if you like fight scenes like that, then one manga is just as interesting as the other. Rust Blaster and Soul Eater also have the theme of not losing yourself, of fighting forces out of the character’s control and staying true to themselves. Although Soul Eater doesn’t have vampires in it, and Rust Blaster does, I think if you like one, you should give the other one a read. If Rust Blaster lovers are looking for something longer to read, check out Soul Eater. If Soul Eater lovers are looking for a something short and sweet, try Rust Blaster.
In both manga we have people who turn into weapons and are being used by companions in order to boost their powers. Although they're both action based, Rust Blaster is mainly about the relationship between vampire and human in a world where they coexist, in Soul Eater there's a stronger link between the two partners (soul resonance) and you'll read about funny demons, witches and shinigami.
Both dive into the supernatural with the idea of people turning into weapons to fight other characters, both have an interesting premise but this is where Soul eater does the development of this side much better however both of these manga are enjoyable and I could easily recommend one to the other. Especially if you like the typical shounen stories plus people turning into weapons is pretty cool. So if you liked one I would recommend you try the other xx
Both of these stories feature characters that are turned into weapons for one reason or another (usually to fight off some threat).
Soul Eater is a lot longer and therefore has more time to develop its characters, which is quite noticable when compared to Rust Blaster. Never the less, if you enjoyed reading one of these you might enjoy the other.
Both Soul Eater and Rust Blaster have quite a few similarities - people who turn into weapons, creatures from the horror genre, and schools for the 'unnatural' (for lack of a better word)
Yuki Cross' earliest memory is of snow and blood - she was attacked by a vampire only to be rescued by another. Ten years later and Yuki has been adopted by the headmaster of the prestigious Cross Academy. This school is unique in that it consists of 2 classes - a Day Class and a Night Class. The Night Class is made up of vampires led by Yuki's rescuer all those years ago, Kaname Kuran. Together with Zero Kiryu, a childhood friend who despises everything to do with vampires since his family was murdered, Yuki must serve as a Guardian of the school to keep the two classes separated. Secrets lie beneath a peaceful exterior and not everything is as it seems, as Yuki learns the truth about Kaname, Zero and her own forgotten past.

Vampire Knight and Rust Blaster aren’t too similar. However, if you like the fact that Rust Blaster took place at a co-ed school of humans and vampires and that the main character didn’t like drinking human blood, but lost himself for a bit when he did, then you would like Vampire Knight. It goes more in-depth and deals with those two themes specifically. Vampire Knight is more girly, though, and it’s a lot longer.
Both based around the school and seems to focus quite heavily on the coexsistance of the two species, humans and vampires. In Vampire knight however it is mainly about the humans accepting vampires whereas Rust Blaster is more about a human transferring into a vampire school. Both has some action, some mystery and some drama. So I believe if you liked on of these you might want to try out the other xx
Both of these manga are centered around two species that try to coexist to some extent and both of these involve humans and vampires. Both of the stories are also based around school life (to some extent).
In Victorian England it is commonplace for the rich and wealthy to have a staff, led by a head butler, to run their households; the Phantomhive Estate is no different. The young and demanding Count Ciel Phantomhive, child owner of a toy company, lives in the grand countryside manor. Sebastian is his head butler, and the epitome of perfection; he effortlessly and gracefully completes his day-to day chores and fixes the countless mistakes of the other employees. However, whilst on the outside all seems prim and proper, a more sinister secret lies just beneath the surface. Sebastian is in fact a demon bound by a contract with the young count; he will loyally serve and fight for him in return for his soul.

Kuroshitsuji and Rust Blaster are by the same person – Yana Toboso. If you liked the style and character design of one manga, you should read the other. Both mangas have a gothic look and feel to it. There’s also a contract formed between a human and a supernatural creature {for Rust Blaster it’s a human and a vampire, in Kuroshitsuji, it’s a human and a demon}. Some of the characters in one manga have similar traits to other characters in the other manga {I’ll let you draw the matching lines}. There’s also a lot of feathers in both…
Both by the same artist and author and follow a similar pattern in creating contracts between a human and non-human, both of these are heavily based around supernatural occurances. The only main difference is the lenght of the manga, while Black Butler is over 100 chapters whereas Rust Blaster is a mere 6 but they are both worth checking out. If you liked one, I'd recommend you check the other.

In both Rosario to Vampire and Rust Blaster we have a similar case of humans and vampires fighting together against the "bad guys". Action and comedy are included in the mix. Although Rust Blaster is mainly about vampires and friendship, in Rosario to Vampire you'll be able to see different kinds of monsters/creatures with romance in the background.

Both of these manga are extremely similar in the sense that they are both about vampires and having to work with someone who isn't of the same species, even though these are opposite situations (blood parade is about a human having to work with a vampire in a human organisation and Rust Blaster on the other hand is the opposite.) But both have very Shounen style storylines and I think that if you liked one of these manga then you should have some interest in the other xx
