Synopsis:

Fifteen-year-old Tsukune Aono is average in every way; he has no hobbies, less-than-stellar grades and he's even flunked his high school entrance exam. His parents have managed to enroll him in a school, but it's no ordinary school! Tsukune will be attending the Youkai Academy, a place where monsters learn how to co-exist with humans! As the werewolves, vampires, witches and other monsters are required to retain their human forms, Tsukune - the lone human - is able to avoid their bloodthirsty gazes. However, he quickly attracts the attention of a number of devilish beauties including the vampire Moka, a busty succubus and even a young witch! It seems Tsukune's average life isn't so average anymore!

Both of these manga involve a nice guy who suddenly is introduced to the world of monsters - and monster girls. Being a fragile human with a quickly growing harem of powerful, possessive female monsters, and at the center of their vying for his affections, the poor guy can't seem to go one second without getting hurt by their aggressive love. Ecchi harem and romance elements are at every turn in Rosario+Vampire and Monster Musume - check the other out.

mrd456

both are about a group a monster girls that are in love with the same huuman and fighting over him, the difference between them is the location in rosario vampire a human is at a monster school and in monster museume no iru nichijou they are living with the boy

Bradalee

Both feature an ordinary guy being surrounded by a group of monster girls, which quickly ends up with him being put in all manner of dangerous situations as the girls battle for his affections.

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou is borderline hentai, but if you enjoyed it then Rosario to Vampire may interest you. And if you enjoyed the story and characters, but weren't a fan of the almost hentai artwork then if may be a good compromise.

Kore wa Zombie desu ka?

Kore wa Zombie desu ka?

Ayumu was murdered by a serial killer – at least, he was. For after the mysterious Eucliwood Hellsythe revives him, he changes from a human to a zombie, much to his dismay. Now, in addition to being unable to die, Ayumu must see to the whims of his supernatural, silent companion – but things continue to get worse from there. As once Ayumu accidentally steals a magical girl named Haruna's powers, he is tasked with the embarrassing, obnoxious task of being a magical girl – err, boy– in her stead! Then with the addition of a hostile vampire ninja to his household, can Ayumu manage to maintain his new home life, fight against attacking monsters, and track down the person who killed him all while attempting to keep what little dignity he has left in tact?

These manga are more close to each other than the anime counterparts, mostly because of how Tsukune is different/not useless in the Rosario+Vampire manga. Both of these are fanservicy comedies with monsters or other supernatural creatures. At first, monstrous females are the male protagonist’s enemies/are strangers, but through battling, they end up becoming his friend and are subsequently added to his ever increasing harem. The main heroines - Yuu and Inner Moka - similarly have an air of coolness in whatever they do, easily making them the more favorable characters, though they don't speak much.

I read both! They were both awesome although Rosario to vamp is cooler, plus it's season II is out! They are both sorta harem, 1 boy many girls sort of thing and I love mangas that have people wigh special abilities. The plots are really good too! Oh, and the drawing of RtoV is really awesome.

Love Monster

Love Monster

After failing her high school entrance exam, Hiyo Osora becomes desperate; so when she receives an acceptance letter from the prestigious SM Academy it is like a godsend. The fact that she did not apply is trivial and she immediately decides on going. However, what she didn't expect to find there was a school full of monsters, least of all one that was convinced she was his fiance!

In both manga the protagonist fails the highschool entrance exams, but receives an invitation to join an unknown highschool which is located in a secluded place, only to discover that it's a school for monsters. At first both Tsukune and Hiyo have problems adapting to the school but soon they make friends. However Tsukune must hide the fact that he is human since humans aren't allowed there, while Hiyo has no such problems since everyone accepts her despite the fact that she's a human.

With a human getting forced into going to a school full of monsters Love Monster and Rosario to Vampire are strikingly similar.  Trying to keep their humanness a secret from everyone else is also another problem for these two characters.  With their lives taking an unexpectedly scary turn both Tsukune and Hiyo have to learn how to adapt to their new situation.

Marugoto Anju Gakuen

Marugoto Anju Gakuen
  • Vol: 3; Ch: 20
  • 2005

Kaguya is in a bind. His mother has decided that he will attend Anju Gakuen, an all-girls' school for monsters, but there's a catch: he's not a girl, and he's not a monster! As humans are eaten if discovered, Kaguya must wear his skirt and try to blend in with the population of werewolves, demons, foxes and spirits, but it won't be easy. He's forced to room with Hakubi, a nine-tailed fox who secretly only has seven tails, and numerous supernatural beauties are out for his hand in marriage. With his secret leaking to more girls and nudity abounding at every turn, will Kaguya manage to survive his time in Anju Gakuen?

It's hard to not see the similarities between Marugoto and Rosario to Vampire (but only the first manga - Rosario II is much more dark). Both involve a boy hiding his identity in a school full of monsters, and both are heavily filled with ecchi.

There are some differences, such as Marugoto being more like an overly ecchi, moe-ified version of Azumanga while Rosario leans more towards the romantic comedy side of things, but fans of one will definitely appreciate the other.

dogfaeces

they're both about a human boy who has to hide their identity after going to a school full of monsters against their will but eventually start to like it, both are ecchi and harem. they're different in that in rosario vampire is a co ed and marugoto anju gakuen is an all girls school
