KKJ is the same concept as D.N.Angel, with the idea of phantom/alter-ego thievery whilst keeping a secret romance - however, in KKJ, the main character's gal-pal is attempting to capture her thief alter-ego, and her love interest is also a rival thief, rather than the detective and the rival thief being one person in D.N.Angel.
These two mangas/animes are a lot like eachother, with the ideas of people who turn into phantom theives (Daisuke Nia and Kusakabe Maron) with best friends who are trying to catch their alternate personalities. (Hiwatari Satoshi and Toudaiji Miyako.) The protagonists also both have good friends (or love interests, in KKJ's case, and if you ship Satoshi and Daisuke :P) who are secretly there enemies, though they do catch on. In short, though they are similar they are both very original, fun, and worth a try.

Author is the same, so if you like the art style/big eyes in one, you would like the other.
Both are high school student based with romance thrown in. Both female leads come from broken homes, and suffer from being lonely. If you liked one, you might like the other.
The story may not be similar but the main female characters in both manga are very similar. Both females appear strong but is actually weak and afraid of being hurt but will do anything to help their friends. Both of them also have a childhood friend who understands them and help them in time of need. Both of their family situation is similar in that the main females don’t live with their parents and afraid of being hated by their parents. If you like one of the female lead then you may enjoy the other.
