Skip Beat and Penguin Revolution remind me of each other because both of them are about people trying to make it in the entertainment world, if you liked one then you would like the other for sure. The guy in Penguin Revolution reminds me of the main in Skip Beat and they also both work in companies surronded in mystery. The comedy in Skip Beat is more often but every once in a while Penguin Revolution will give you a good laugh.  Both of them are very good and draw you in and the atmosphere is the same.  For some reason it is hard to find all of the Penguin Revolution Chapters online but I know Citymanga has most of them and all other sites have the last Chapters.

Strong female main character, show biz... pretty much the same surroundings. also I get the same "general feel" when reading both mangas.

Both stories share a core theme of [sexy&blonde] male lead character being disguised as a girl in order to fulfill their dream to be an actor. Being disguised and going to school as a woman is the condition made by their boss/father. In both, the female main character finds out about the secret and they become closer. If you liked W-Juliet or Penguin Revolution, you'd definitely like the other.

Both manga have the premise of a girl being friends with a boy that she sees talent in and wants to help make famous to rise to the top of the acting/modeling industry by acting as his producer.  Lots of bishies in both series and the protagonists of both series have similar hairstyles too!  There's showbiz rivalry, comedy and some romance.  Fans of one series will find much to like in the other.

Both of these mangas are centered around a female protaganist entering show business disguised as a male. Both have beautiful art and an interesting twist to the plot.

Both mangas are about the show business, with a female lead that needs to crossdress and lives with the male lead. I like both personalities of the females leads, they are both focused on their goals, and the stories are completely love focused, which gave the characters more personality.

Beauty Pop

Beauty Pop

Kiri is a gifted young hairstylist who takes great pleasure in anonymously using her talents to add a ‘little magic' to an ordinary girl's life. On the flipside, a group of three boys called the Scissors Project have an entirely different mindset: they give grand makeovers to a select group of handpicked girls who are beautiful to begin with. Kiri is quite content with staying out of the public eye, though with the Scissors Project's leader Narumi refusing to stand aside and give up his makeover throne, it seems that she won't be able to stay out of the spotlight for long. With challenges being thrown at her whenever there's a chance, Kiri finds that she cannot resist responding to the world of hairstyling.

Both manga have likable female leads, plus a wonderous male cast as both leads and support charaters. Each of the two manga have very thick headed female roles. Plus at least one goofy male character.

Penguin Brothers

Penguin Brothers

Hina moves back to her old home town only to find that the high school is run by two opposing factions, and students identify themselves based on the color of their school uniforms: Black for the followers of the ostentatious, violent Nishizaki, and white for the followers of the misanthropic, clean-freak Isshiki. And, as if it wasn't complicated enough, there are the "grays," who wear their own clothing, deciding to be their own people. Hina finds herself stuck between the leaders of the two factions, and it seems to be turning violent.

The Seven Deadly Sins Production

The Seven Deadly Sins Production

The manga imagines what would happen if the setting of Nanatsu no Taizai was a live-action TV drama production. Meliodas is an actor who plays the role of a child genius. The manga shows the bad habits of the actors, both during filming and in their everyday lives.
