There are two worlds which exist side by side – the ordinary surface world of the humans and the secret world of ninjas called Nabari. Within this secret world, the opposing ninja groups are fighting over who should possess the ultimate power known as Shinra Banshou. Enter Miharu Rokujou, a high-school student who lives a carefree life and likes to keep himself to himself. Unfortunately for Miharu, his carefree life is about to be over, because within him is hidden the ultimate power and there is no end of evil minions ready to kidnap him for it! Miharu’s only chance of survival is to embrace this mystic world and become the King of Nabari himself. With the help of his new ninja friends, Kouichi, Shimizu, and Kumohira, can he come to grips with his powers or will he fall prey to his many enemies instead?
Both series revoval around two boys who both have something sealed deep insided of them. Having to battler enemy ninjas, and learning how to control that power so that neither one looses control and end up doing something they that both main character's may regret.
Like any other series both main character's have a desire (for Naruto its to become the next Hockage, for Miharu it is to grant his friend's wish.).
If you like the comedic and action pacted adventure of one, you may also like the other as well.
Naruto and Nabari no Ou are both ninja-themed stories in which the main character struggles to gain control over an evil power that resides within in him.
In both series the hero intends to not only control his own inner demon but to also save and redeem a villainous friend whom he treasures dearly.
If you enjoyed one I believe you will enjoy the other.
Aster and Yuno were abandoned together at the same church, and have been inseparable since. As children, they promised that they would compete against each other to see who would become the next sorcerous emperor. However, as they grew up, some differences between them became plain. Yuno was a genius with magic, with amazing power and control, while Aster could not use magic at all, and tried to make up for his lack by training physically. When they received their grimoires at age 15, Yuno got a spectacular book with a four-leaf-clover (most people receive a three-leaf-clover), while Aster received nothing at all. However, when Yuno was threatened, the truth about Aster's power was revealed-- he received a five-leaf-clover grimoire, a 'black clover' book of anti-magic. Now the two friends are heading out in the world, both seeking the same goal!
I find Black Clover a lot like Naruto. The lead characters in both series' start out as outcast aspiring to become the saviors of their respective nations.
Naruto is an amazing series, just when you think nothing more can happen, you're surprised with another twist. The storyline is brilliant and it keeps you hooked throughout the entire read.
Though its just beginning, Black Clover is a great manga so far, the story reminds me of Naruto a lot but more lighthearted, I look forward to seeing where it goes.
Black Clover and Naruto have a lot of similar elements. It's quite obvious: they are both superpowers-action-shounen manga where the main characters joins a "military" organisation. Said MCs are also similar in that they are "talentless, unpopular, loud-mouthed brats" who want to stand at the top of the organisation (become Hokage/ Wizard King). The rival of the MC is the "talented popular guy" in both cases.
And then, the "worthless" MCs become more useful than they seem at first.
Although the character of "Asta" (the mc in Black Clover) quickly diverges from the full-on "Naruto-type", I think if you enjoyed one you might like the other too.
Five hundred years ago there lived a feudal lord with a vast amount of spiritual power. To keep it from falling into the hands of demonic Ayakashi, the mage Tokimori Hazama and his two students were called to defend the land. However, they fell ill, and the feudal lord was killed and buried on the land now called Karasumori. Years later the successors of the Hazama students, Yoshimori and Tokine, have inherited the powers of the Hazama clan. They are Kekkaishi, users of the Kekkai, a secret and powerful technique that creates a strong barrier to capture and eliminate Ayakashi. Protectors of the power buried beneath Karasumori, Yoshimori and Tokine spend their days in the school built on the land, and their nights defending it from attackers who wish to use the power for their own purposes. With Karasumori's power growing more unpredictable everyday, will Yoshimori become strong enough to protect the ones he loves?
Action, violence, and protecting the ones you love. Naruto and Kekkaishi both have many of the same themes. The also share similar main characters who may not be as strong as everyone else, but the sure do have a whole lot of endurance. There are a lot of parallels between these two manga. You will probably like one if you like the other
Yuusuke is a street-fighting, class-skipping juvenile delinquent. Killed in an unexpected act of kindness, he thwarts the spirit-world bureaucracy and ends up with a second chance at life... as infant prince of death Koenma's Spirit Detective! Simultaneously cheered on and kept in line by Keiko Yukimura, his childhood friend, he is joined by a spiritually aware human, two demons on parole, and guided by a much too lively ferry girl of the dead. Together they plow through demons, tournaments, hijinks, intense "martial arts" training, cross-dressers, dungeons, conspiracies and bad puns alike. At the end of the day, what's it all for? Kicking butt and saving the world, of course!
Both the main characters in Naruto and Yu Yu Hakusho are both idiots that do whatever they want whenever they want, but they always have time to do their job. The only bad thing is that the job is almost always a dangerous, if not life threatening job, but the good thing is that they are almost always with a group of friends that will support them. Before you know it you will be thrown into several different action packed adventures with these two lucky idiots that make you wanting to know more of what's going to happen.
