The female main characters are both tsundere, the action take place in a school environement. I find the relationship between the 2 main characters very similar!Hope you enjoy both of these manga!

Eunicorn Eunicorn says...

Both female main characters are tsunderes and the male main characters both are very likeable towards girls in their school and both are very talented in some way. Also, the female main characters are very strict towards boys but they have a soft side and they showed that side to the male main characters. Both main characters met the other in an unexpected way, and both male main characters liked the girls first. Of course, the tsundere girls deny their feeling towards their partners but in the end, their feelings were shown and a new relationship was born.

AlexaSN AlexaSN says...

Generally the main couple in both have similar characters. The FL is very stuborn, stric and denies her feelings for the ML for as long as possible, even though with time they become obvious. The ML on the other hand is very confident, laid back and agressive in pursuing the FL, by constantly being straight forward about his affections toward her.

Same strong willed tsundere female lead and boy falls before girl. I Think should be the first recommendation after S-A. It also has the comedic antidotes here and there.

To everybody that recommended Namaikizakari for Maid Sama readers... I love you (because I love it)... and I hate you all (my productivity went down big time).

If you are a big fan of Maid Sama READ THIS NOW. I'm currently at chapter 24.

Similarities:

- Both female leads are responsible, serious hard workers that inspire you to be better. Both lose their cool with the male leads in funny/cute ways. Both are massive tsunderes. Both are very, VERY relatable, specially Namaikizakari's regarding insecurity issues.

- Both male leads are stoic, laid-back, smart, athletic bishonens. Both are EXTREMELY straighforward in their flirting.

- Both stories are slow-burn romances in high school.

- Both leads are similar physically (Naruse has brown hair, but the mangaka doesn't fill it out in black and white pages, so he looks blonde too)

Differences:

- While Usui appears to be a stoic character, he's actually really expressive, specially in comparison to Naruse (the few times he changes his facial expression you want to hang up the page in a wall because it's so rare).

- Naruse goes through more character development than Usui, because he starts as a more "flawed" person than the latter. I actually wish we got something like that in Maid Sama because (SPOILERS) Naruse feels like a subversion of characters like Usui (at least around chapter 18 irc). By characters like Usui I mean really talented laid-back guys who don't really need to make an effort to succeed. Naruse starts like "meeeh, I don't really care" but slowly changes into someone motivated, and I LOVE IT. Usui battles his own demons, but they don't have much to do with motivation.

- Maid Sama has more colourful background characters, and the subplots are more interesting: there's school events, Maid Cafe events, lots of trips out of school, tension because of Misaki's secret, family dramas, etc. Namakizakari so far (ch24) only has basketball training as the subplot, and although the important matches feel really tense and important, a little more variety would be cool.

So far I LOVE IT ♥♥!!

They're both fun and enjoyble reads, with very similar ML's who both try to make a stubborn but soft-hearted FL fall for them. Both mangas are filled with lots of  hilarious and entertaining events.

stinkypoopy stinkypoopy says...

both have a guy that falls for a girl and only that girl. they stay loyal and act as a pervert to them only. also they think it's fun to see all the faces and reactions of her in different situations.

Akkiapple Akkiapple says...

Both have playful male lead and a strict to rules female lead and are school romance mangas where the girl has a somewhat managing position in school

Star17226 Star17226 says...

both have an adorable romance doesnt feel slow or rushed, namaikizakari is a little more mature but yuki and ayuzawa are very similar.

ialex32 ialex32 says...

Both the male leads are quite similar: exceptionally talented, both academically and at sports, both are best described as "perverted outer spac aliens", they both make their affections for the female leads clear early on, and both female leads are reluctant to admit their feelings for the male leads. Both female leads have a secret (very mild for Yuki, much more significant for Misaki) they don't want others to know, but the male leads discover.

Racjon Racjon says...

Both the female leads take their time falling in love and they show how they start cherishing those feelings as someone people who would never even think about it ,shows great character development . The male leads are very smitten and support the female leads through their process of love

dutchvdl dutchvdl says...

It's been a little while since I've read Nanaikizakari, so please bare with me if this recommendation sounds a little off. Both manga star a very strong independant female character who has trouble admiting that they are falling for the persistant male lead. Both have a sport element to them, but that takes the back seat to the adorable romance unfurling. Both love stories are cute, funny, and tooth-numbingly sweet.

Mu254 Mu254 says...

Both Mizutama Honey Boy and Namaikizakari feature female leads who are resistant to the male leads, both heavily focussed on their own personal advances and they both have supporting characters that are flamboyant and add to the story in a nice way.

A lazy but talented guy falls in love with a determined, practical girl who rejects him at first.  His adorably inane antics both annoy her and endear her to him.  She starts to like him back but it looks like a girl with glasses has also fallen for him.  And then the male lead's rival from his past starts liking our heroine because of their similar passion and seriousness.  Meanwhile, the relationship between our lazy but talented male lead and our heroine goes back and forth between annoyance and romantic glimmerings because she fears that actually going out with each other would conflict with her duties (to her studies in Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and to her responsibilities to the basketball team in Namaikizakari).

This almost has the same exact trope as Once More. Frisky and independent girl meets playful guy. They both have very cute relationships and kinship moments. Also, the girl shares and expresses her feelings more due to her trust in the main lead. The only difference is I would say there is a bit more drama in Once more than in Namaikizakari. Overall these are both 2 cute manga/manhwa/manhua. You will definitely fall in love with it.
