In the early part of the 21st century, clouds of toxic microbes cover most of the planet, forcing the citizens of Newport to wear masks when outside. In this harsh world, a single criminal's malicious deeds have incited the Japanese police to take to the street in Tanks! Having already stolen the experimental organism Greenpeace Crolis, Buaku and his henchmen Annapuma and Unipuma set their sights on bigger game including a prototype mega-tank and the governments only sand-crawler submarine. Join Leona Ozaki, Alcuad Solte, Charles Brenten, and the rest of the Newport Station Tank Police as they try to uncover the method behind the gangster's madness and catch him before his diabolical plan comes to fruition.
Both series focus on the wild antics of female police officers, with plenty of action to go around. Unfortunately for their respective cities, the police cause as much damage as the criminals.
Both series are about female law enforcement agents who cause as much havok (or more) as the criminals they fight.
Both manga focus on a pair of female cops, with one officer in each pair being a new recruit. The cops in question are often as wild (or wilder) as the criminals they combat. Both series have a lot of action and a lot of comedy.
