After failing her high school entrance exam, Hiyo Osora becomes desperate; so when she receives an acceptance letter from the prestigious SM Academy it is like a godsend. The fact that she did not apply is trivial and she immediately decides on going. However, what she didn't expect to find there was a school full of monsters, least of all one that was convinced she was his fiance!
Misao Harada has always been able to see strange creatures that are invisible to everyone else. Living as a regular high school girl, the teen wants a boyfriend more than anything, so when her first love, Kyou, moves back into the house next door it seems her wish will come true. However, Kyou is in fact a Tengu who has returned to fulfil their childhood promise and by taking Misao as his bride his tribe will gain tremendous prosperity. With other demons out for her blood, Kyou offers her protection if she will consent to marry him, but distraught by his revelation, Misao turns him down. In Kyou’s relentless pursuit to protect Misao and win her over he has begun working as her new homeroom teacher in order to best protect her. Now with demons attacking her at every turn, and a fox spirit named Shuuhei also vying for her hand in marriage, can Misao really resist Kyou’s charms forever, but does the handsome tengu really love her or is he simply after the benefits their union would bring?
These are almost suspiciously similar. Both are about a guy who is a tengu or demon (both crows) falling in love with a girl who is somehow special (in Black bird she is the special human who brings prosperity/long life etc to demons; in Love monster she is the legendary white crow), in both they knew eachother when they were young and didn't meet again for ages and when they do the guy is very forceful, pervy, possessive, a bit of a bastard and declares them fiances straight away. Meanwhile the girl is resistant at first but slowly falls in love too. The romance is completely the same except that love monster takes place in a boarding school and involves loads more other demons. They both have a vaguely comedic feel to them and the drawing style is similar. The plots differ (love monster only develops one towards the end, black bird hasn't really got much of one yet) but if you like on you should definatly check out the other.
Both of these stories concern a naive girl that slowly falls in love with a Tengu who is domineering. These girls have met the guys when they were younger and are then later pursued and protected by them. In both of these stories the male protagonists are willing to take on eveyone else to be with the ones that they love, as well as protect them from harm.
Love monster and Black Bird both have handsome men that loved the main character since he was young. In both stories they are willing to risk everything for their girl. BOTH ARE REALLY GOOD STORIES!!!! READ BOTH OF THEM!!!
Both stories are centered around the love of a powerful and perverted crow demon and a small but very determined young girl. In both stoires the lead characters were childhood friends and both female leads influence caused the male leads to work harder to become more powerful. Also in both stories both girls seem to have lost their memories from their childhood. Both stories included many twists and battles as these charcters struggle for their love.. and lives!!
Definitly alike, storyline, characters even the abount of ecchi scenes are about the same. However I think Love monster has more comedy.
its alost the exct same thing excepy love monster is more funny.. both manga's are supernatural but have more romance than action.. pervy main characters.. crow demons.. ect.. i loved it so im sure you will 2!!!!
Both Love Monster and Black Bird are similar in the sense that Male tengus fall in love with girls at a young age and desire to marry them. That being said, Love Monster is different from Black Bird in the sense that the female--Hiyo Osora--is a lot less helpless than Misao in Black Bird. Also, Love Monster has a great deal more humor than Black Bird which is super dramatic.
they both are cute and funny, have a GREAT story line and once you start reading ethier of them you wont be able to put them down
Fifteen-year-old Tsukune Aono is average in every way; he has no hobbies, less-than-stellar grades and he's even flunked his high school entrance exam. His parents have managed to enroll him in a school, but it's no ordinary school! Tsukune will be attending the Youkai Academy, a place where monsters learn how to co-exist with humans! As the werewolves, vampires, witches and other monsters are required to retain their human forms, Tsukune - the lone human - is able to avoid their bloodthirsty gazes. However, he quickly attracts the attention of a number of devilish beauties including the vampire Moka, a busty succubus and even a young witch! It seems Tsukune's average life isn't so average anymore!
In both manga the protagonist fails the highschool entrance exams, but receives an invitation to join an unknown highschool which is located in a secluded place, only to discover that it's a school for monsters. At first both Tsukune and Hiyo have problems adapting to the school but soon they make friends. However Tsukune must hide the fact that he is human since humans aren't allowed there, while Hiyo has no such problems since everyone accepts her despite the fact that she's a human.
With a human getting forced into going to a school full of monsters Love Monster and Rosario to Vampire are strikingly similar. Trying to keep their humanness a secret from everyone else is also another problem for these two characters. With their lives taking an unexpectedly scary turn both Tsukune and Hiyo have to learn how to adapt to their new situation.
