Battle Royale

Battle Royale

Reality TV has hit a new and disturbingly graphic low with ‘The Program,' a television series in which a purposely chosen ninth-grade class is forced to fight to the death on a remote island. With only minimal survival gear and a random weapon, each student must survive and kill their friends until only one winner remains; if the group refuses to play, all of its members are killed by the electronic collars around their necks. Girlfriends and boyfriends betray each other, friends are brutally slain by their closest companions and alliances are made and broken. On screen for the world to see, only the strongest will survive this horrific, sadistic game...

Over the top violence and ecchi? If you liked those elements in Lives, check out the famous Battle Royale.

La Mosca is FAR superior to Lives - but both have giant/terrifying creatures in prehistoric type settings eating people with plenty of action. If you liked Lives, give the better La Mosca a try. If the latter, read Lives with reservations.

Chaosic Rune

Chaosic Rune isn't similar in plot, but if you liked the shocking/gore elements in it, you might like the vapid shock value of Lives.

Zombie Hunter and Lives are two tales of survival with over the top ecchi and gore - if you liked that aspect of one, read the other.

Cage of Eden and Lives are a perfect pair for each other - a pre-historic landscape, scary creatures eating people and over the top ecchi. If you liked those aspects of one I can't imagine you'd dislike the other.
