So, you've read Kurohime, maybe even liked it and now you're looking for something similar, but better? Look no further Kiba no Tabishounin is just what you are looking for. It has a wester setting, young boy saved by a selfish, attractive, older woman and she can also kick some ass. What's not to like?

Just this one thing: age transformations activated via kissing and they get averted if the transforming character isn't sincere about the feelings for whom she kisses. Other than that those manga are totally different (I might say Kurohime is actually pretty bad), but the age transformation theme isn't all that common, so if that's what floats your boat, you could give those a try.

A fight against fate. A fight against the Gods.  Red and Kurohime both have protagonists who challenge the Gods.  In these two action packed manga/hwa, mythical giants, creator of elements, Gods are very real.  The way they are depicted in each series is fascinating.  Join our heroes as they fight the ultimate challenge with their life on the line and rise up to face the unbeatable.
