Yamato Akitsuki has recently moved to Tokyo, and in order to maintain his less than wealthy lifestyle, he currently works at his aunt's bathhouse. While walking by the school one evening he sees a girl by the name of Suzuka practicing the high jump, and is instantly in love. Even better is the realization that Suzuka lives next door! Determined to prove himself worthy of her affections, Yamato decides to join the school's track team and show her what he's got, but things won't be so easy; for Suzuka has a love interest of her own, and it isn't Yamato...
Emotional impact, love triangles, ecchi, and a roller coaster ride of a story, what more could one ask for in both Kimi No Iru Machi and Suzuka. Two cute girls and one guy trying everything to be with each other. Haruto and Yamato are one in alike. They both have extreme difficulty dealing with girls. They make good situations bad and worse situitions, even worse. Comdedic and heart warming, if you want a romance with passion, incredible characters, and blooming love, then look no further, Kimi No Iru Machi and Suzuka were made for you.
First of all, they are both made by the same authors, so that just shows you how both can be similar both in story and the romantic elements. Both stories take place in the same universe, and in Kimi No Iru Machi you actually hear/see some of the chracters from Suzuka. Both of the manga are extremely funny and the love stories are very moving and even realistic. The only true difference between each one is that Kimi is more of a focused Romance, while Sazuka also includes the sport elements. In my true and honest opinion, if you like one of these, you will absolutely love the other just as much.
Takuma and Mayu have loved each other since they eight years old, having met while Mayu's father treated Takuma at the hospital for his heart condition. One night Mayu overhears her father explaining that Takuma will probably die before he turns twenty years old, and that Takuma doesn't even know yet. Devastated and desperate, Mayu goes with Takuma to search for a four leaf clover to wish for a miracle. When they can't find one, Takuma makes the worst promise possible: to marry Mayu when they both turn twenty. Takuma eventually realizes he cannot keep his promise and to avoid hurting Mayu, he distances himself from her. However, when Takuma can no longer avoid Mayu, what will become of the two childhood friends?
Both stories are about a couple who from childhood have a deep love for each other, and how through hilarious and sometimes very irritating circumstances have trouble forming a solid relationship with one another. Kimi no Iru Machi is slower passed then Boku No Hatsukoi Wo Kimi Ni Sasagu, but it has far more twists and turns. Both are exceptional manga's that will have you reading for hours on end, to find out whats next...

One day, however, the new beauty in his class, Yuki, learns of Seiji’s affections for her senior in the club and takes it upon herself to help him in his romance - and the first step is to get him to join the tennis club! Now Yuki is coaching the lovestruck teen in how to win his love, but are her intentions true, and will Utsumi be able to get the “Good Ending” he desires?
Kind of like a sisters, Kimi and GE relate much the same. These 2 mangas feature a boy whose in love with one girl from 1st sight. As things progress and and he gets closer, he realizes he is in love with another girl. Each main boy goes beyond what any normal person would do just to make things right in his love life. Love triangles out the wazoo, drama, and ecchiness, these mangas were meant for each other.
