Misaki Takahashi has little hope of getting into a university, so his older brother Takahiro's friend, Usami Akihiko, offers to tutor Misaki as a favor to Takahiro - for Usami is secretly in love with him. However, as time passes Misaki realizes that he has uncomfortable and budding feelings for Usami. Meanwhile, Hiroki is a man who can't get over an unrequited love with Usami in the past - and with the help of Nowaki, he may finally learn to love again. These couples and more experience the joys and sadness of love between men under the most unlikely conditions.
These manga both comprise of several different stories about love between men. Whereas Othello is rather short shy and vague about both the theme and the conclusions of the stories, Junjou Romantica takes a bolder approach by stretching out the stories and depicting all there is to depict. The overall feel, however, is very similar so if you liked one you will probably like the other as well.
Rikugun Renai Shikan Gakkou reminds me a lot of Junjou Romantica because both manga are humorous and involve aggressive, cocky, arrogant older guys who go for belligerent, outspoken younger lovers.
Rikugun Renai Shikan, however, is a historical yaoi set during WWII AND THE DRAWING IS GORGEOUS WAAA so if you were kind of put off by the drawing style in Junjou ROmantica/love sexy confident males in uniform, you will love Rikugun Renai Shikan Gakkou.
