Twenty-year-old Maiko Ninomiya has just returned to university after being held back a year; she rescued a dog from being hit by a car and was struck herself, missing half a year of school in the process. She's been having strange, erotic dreams about an unknown man since the incident - that is, until she meets the man in real life! His name is Yukiya Nagase, and he's the new literature professor at school. Maiko soon discovers that the woman he loved, Haruka, gave her blood during the accident and later died, leaving behind Yukiya and a young son. As she carries Haruka's blood inside her, Maiko feels and remembers some of the same things as her benefactor, and now Yukiya wants Maiko for his own as a way of communicating to Haruka. Together, the three begin to live together and their feelings deepen. But does Yukiya see Maiko as more than just a memory of Haruka?
Suzu is a sixteen-year-old girl whose ordinary appearance and small size have never earned her a boyfriend. However, she has the uncanny ability to understand how animals are feeling and loves them all the more. One day an injured cat falls into Suzu's arms, and she takes him home to patch him up. After falling asleep next to the cat she awakens next to a naked, bandaged and beautiful boy! His name is Noir, and he has the ability to change between a human and cat form... and most importantly, he wants Suzu to have his babies! As if things couldn't get any stranger, it seems that other cats are after Noir for dark purposes, and Suzu must help protect him from their grasp. Between keeping Noir's paws off of her saving Noir from his would-be captors, Suzu has her hands full!
These two manga start out similar, with a boy forcing a girl into a relationship she doesn't want to be in. They diverge sharply later on, with Its Not Like That becoming plot heavy and serious, and far less smutty than Dakishimete. Regardless, these may be a decent rec for each other, at least for the first part of Its.
These stories are basically the same thing. Meaning Yukiya and Noir like Maiko and Suzu so they sort of force them into a relationship only to have it end up with Maiko and Suzu changing the way Yukiya and Noir have been living in the past.
Ever since Kurumi's father died four years ago, she's been left to take care of her ailing mother and two twin brothers by herself. However, one day Kurumi's life changes forever when she comes across a hurt man in an alley and nurses him back to health. His name is Hakuron, and he's the young leader of the Dragon Lord Association - a Hong Kong mafia organization. After stealing Kurumi away to Hong Kong, Hakuron is determined to make her his own; and after falling in love with Hakuron, regardless of his sins, Kurumi is happy to oblige. Her new life within the mafia won't be easy, as rival organizations, Hakuron's old playboy lifestyle, his fiancée and a brand new school situation threaten to stand in their way - not to mention, Hakuron's insistence on taking what's his, even Kurumi's body...
At first Maiko and Kuromi are forced to live in a place they don't want to, but after a while they don't just get use to living there but they also start to notice the feelings they have for Hakuron and Yukiya.
The girls in Haou Airen and It’s Not Like That, Darling are forced into a situation in which they do not want to be in. At the same time however they start to notice some hidden feelings for the guy around them.
Both have two lovers that go through a lot to be together. Amazingly sweet endings too. Although slightly different conflicts, there is still a development of the two characters love as the story progresses.
