Fifteen-year-old Nanaka Kinoshita has arrived for her first day of high school, alongside her childhood friend Meiko. While Meiko is a typical girl, Nanaka is in love with painting and finds it's easiest to express herself with art, rather than with words. As she walks onto campus with her sketchbook, she spots a handsome boy with his own sketchbook in hand; his name is Chihaya, and he's one of two members of the school's art club. Nanaka wants to know as much as she can about Chihaya, and together the two girls join the art club. And soon, Nanaka discovers that she and Chihaya have more in common than she realized...
Nishino (Hidarite no Love Letter) and Nanaka (24 Colors) are both quiet and shy girls that have their heart set on a boy they think is out of their league. Though they each manage to push that to the side and pursue their guy in their own cute way.
