They both give off the same spooky vibe and like Naru the maine character hunts "Allegorys" although (Hanako and the Terror of Allegory) is more suited for an older group of readers it has comedy and (Hanako and the Terrorr of Allegory) doest have "Ghost" it has what’s called "Allegorys" witch is very similar to “ghost” not much of a deference really

These series are extremely similar in many ways, as well as very different. While Gost Hunt deals with regular ghosts, Hanako is about urban legends.

They both have that lovely creepiness that makes them worth reading.

If you liked one you're sure to like the other.

Although I haven't finished either of these Manga series; I recommend if you liked one of them, you'll like the other. The stories are extremely similar although Hanako seems to be slim on the shounen-ai.
