Tohru Honda might just be the unluckiest girl around. After a series of unfortunate events Tohru has no place to call home - that is, until the wealthy yet cursed Sohma family offer to take her in, in exchange for performing the household chores. However, soon Tohru discovers that there's much more to the Sohma family than meets the eye. Though shocked and surprised, Tohru promises to keep their secrets; but will the Sohma family approve of an outsider knowing who they really are?
okay they may have many differances, but theyr both really cute. theyre both about the main girl becoming the house keeper in a house full of guys. the main girl in both is very happy but not annoyingly so, I really think if you liked one youd like the other ^_^
Shiharu is a high-school student who loves kids, lives in an orphanage, and works at a daycare... Until the handsome uncle of two-year-old twins offers her a raise if she'll be their babysitter. Often relying on memories of her mother's actions for guidance, Shiharu quickly finds herself falling in love with her new makeshift family.
Perhaps not similar in content, per se, but definitely in feel.
The main charaters of both are strong girls who are orphans and without a family but they find (or are found by) people who become precious to them and they end up becoming families.
I love how the females have actual strength in their personality (more so in FHS than in LSL).
If you like romance, bishies with soft hearts, and light comedy, you'll enjoy either of these manga.
Kyoko moves to the big city with the prince of her dreams Shotaro; he wants to make it big in the entertainment business, so she works hard at many different jobs to support him as he achieves his dream. However, one day, Kyoko accidentally discovers the horrible truth: the love of her life thinks of her as a 'plain and boring woman!' Outraged, Kyoko swears revenge - she will make it even bigger than Shotaro in the entertainment world. The only question is, how will she fulfill her desire?
I find these to be similar in strange ways.
See, we have strong (like, literally strong) female leads with dashing and chivalrous men around her, and yet, instead of falling all over them and becoming wrapped up in her own beating heart, she stays strong (sometimes to the point idiotic stubborness) and independent.
If you liked one you'll definitely like the other.
