Blurry Moon

Around the time that Hinaki Mitsura climbed his way to number two host in the club, Tsukayama Satoshi transfers from a branch store. He was Mitsura’s senior in high school, and also the cause of Mitsura’s most devastating memory. Tsukayama proceeds to take over as top host, surpassing Mitsura and the man he has been living with, Miura-san. Miura-san is kind, gentle, and wants to protect and love Mitsura. But Mitsura’s heart is closed, that is until Tsukayama starts to work his way under Mitsura’s skin. His growing attraction to the arrogant one who caused a deep scar under the full moon is a source of confusion and suffering, and he begins to question everything he is - everything he has worked to become. This love story vividly depicts the human drama among hosts, under the blurry moon.

**Will possibly contain spoilers** So the storyline is pretty decent, pretty dark so if you're not willing to read a story involving sensitive topics then this isn't for you. I honestly really like the art style, character's weren't too bad either. There's only one thing that's dragging this review down.  The way the chapters were ordered really confused me. I know on here it says it only has 5 chapters, but no matter where I went to read it there were 7. So my review will be based on all 7 chapters. The first 5 chapters made sense to me, It talks about Hinaki's job as a host, meeting Tsukayama and showing their past and previous relationships. In these chapters, it talks about the dark past between Tsukayama and Hinaki when they were in high school. It gave a bit of detail about the rape, how it Hinaki's image of Tsukayama, making him hate evening moons. In these 5 chapters as well, it shows how they eventually develop a relationship (which in reality, I don't see HOW). Their relationship was more of friends with benefits until chapter 5 where it seems to grow into something "more". Then when you reach chapter six, it's like ignoring what happened in the first 5 chapters as it focuses more on when Tsukayama first transfer's over. But they also mention 5 years ago. Whether they had separated and it's a continuation of the first 5 chapters, I'm unsure. I don't think so because when they mention 5 years ago it mostly talks about high school. But again, the chapter goes on as if the relationship that grew was gone and never happened. Then the 7th chapter has 2 completely new characters and is honestly mostly just a random smut scene that didn't make sense on why it was there. Now, I may have read it wrong and this is why I'm so confused, so If anyone understands it please let me know, or not. I don't know If I'm the only confused one. Again, the only thing that's really dragging this review down is the fact that with the last 2 chapters it became very confusing. The story itself wasn't that bad.
