Synopsis:

Yuiko loves animals, but given the overly-aggressive way she tries to show her love for them, they always run away. One day Yuiko meets a strange boy named Leo who seems to be more beast than human; his fierce eyes frighten everyone away, and he harbors a dark secret: when he's threatened or sees blood, Leo loses control and behaves like a wild animal. Can Yuiko tame this wild beast, or will he run just like all the other animals she loves?

Tohru Honda might just be the unluckiest girl around. After a series of unfortunate events Tohru has no place to call home - that is, until the wealthy yet cursed Sohma family offer to take her in, in exchange for performing the household chores. However, soon Tohru discovers that there's much more to the Sohma family than meets the eye. Though shocked and surprised, Tohru promises to keep their secrets; but will the Sohma family approve of an outsider knowing who they really are?

The relationship between Kyo and Tohru remind me a bit of Yuiko and Leo. The characters are different, but both Leo and Kyo have a monstrous side that they are ashamed of, and the female lead wants to protect them. Also, Shagure and Leo's guardian act similarly in their humor. Both mangas have romance and comedy, so I just think that if you like one you will like the other.

if you like Hatsukoi ni Oboreta, i believe you'll love Beast Master. ( the other way around too).

They're not very similar in any way, but when yo read it you  get all emotional, i mean when there are sad moments you cry....ALOT!And when the main characters end up together (.. as usual... i think its kinda of a cliche but i still love it...) you get excited,happy.....

What I'm trying to say is when you finish reading one of them (doesnt matter which) you feel....i cant find any other so....

YOU FEEL AWESOME!!

Mars

Mars

Kiro Aso is an astounding artist who spends her days cooped at home or in art club room, avoiding all contact with others – especially boys. Rei Kashino is a popular motorcycle enthusiast who seems to have it all: looks, personality, and an endless supply of hot babes throwing themselves at him. When the two cross paths one day by chance, no one could have suspected how close these polar opposites would grow to be, or just how many obstacles their love would have to overcome...

Both "Beast Master" and "Mars" contain a girl who is suddenly loved by a boy completely unlike her. The boy has a beastly nature; he beats people up and the like. In both manga, the heroine is often in a situation where she needs to be rescued by the boy, and occasionally the boy needs to be rescued by the girl. The boys are bad boys, while the girls are innocent.

If you like Beast Master or Beads Club, you would most likely like the other based on these reasons: both are by Kyousuke MOTOMI, both are romantic comedies, both have some drama, and both have the same feel to them and have the same graphics.

Beast Master is a quick and easy read for fun.  It'll get your heart racing a little, leaving you wanting more.  I recommend all the mangas by this author!  Purikyuu is also a short story done like Beast Master just with the main characters being a bit different.  Both are excelent reads!
