Abara

Abara

Long ago, creatures known as White Guanas manifested and attacked both the population and massive structures that tower above the cities. Abara and Baroque are similar in such an uncanny way that one could have been a ripoff of the other. However, unlike the cyberpunk organization in Abara, Baroque includes angels that must deal with grotesque creates. The artwork is INSANELY similar and they have an almost identical feel. Fans of one, especially if you liked the confusion, will appreciate the other.

If you liked the artwork of Baroque and the confusing story, please check out Biomega, Tsutomu Nihei's MUCH better story with very similar artwork and a similar gritty, cyberpunk feel (though Baroque is more a fantasy title)
