Eight years ago, the young songstress Armelia met a kind, aristocratic boy named Luce. However, he was quickly kidnapped a pirate named Captain Scar and whisked away, never to be seen again. Now, in the present, Armelia has disguised herself as a boy in order to find Luce again, and has managed to make her way onto the ship of Captain Scar himself. Armelia soon comes to discover that Luce took his own life some time ago, but she's determined that he's alive somewhere out there. Along with Captain Scar and his crew, Armelia continues to look for her lost love; but he may be closer than she initially thought...

Both manga are about a girl who boards a pirate ship and the pirate captain takes her under his protection.

Brightstone

Both are vary wonderful anime that I enjoyed vary much! Both have to do with pirets and a captin falling in love with a girl who's on bord, so he protects her.
