Signature of the Week #43: Monochrome+
 
Welcome to SOTW 43!


Theme: Monochrome+
Due Date: Friday, Feb 25, Midnight EST (or until I get up a poll).

Since we've had nothing but limitations of subject matter as a theme so far (outside of the freestyle competition), I thought I'd do something different and instead limit your color palette. This week's theme is monochrome+

What is monochrome, you ask?
Well, according to Wikipedia:
Monochrome describes paintings, drawings, design, or photographs in one color or shades of one color.

Basically, its an image done in a single color. This doesn't mean black and white, or grayscale, it can mean any color (redscale, bluescale, greenscale, etc).
What is monochrome+ then, you ask?
Well, it's monochrome, plus some additional color of your choosing.
*The Rule*
The plus portion must not be the majority of the signature. The majority should be in a single shade, with some additional flare's of color if you deem them necessary to add a little flavor.

NOTE: black and white is perfectly fine if that's what you want to do.

This is not my entry, I'm just trying to be sure. Would something like this count? I'd rather find out now then go through all that time making a sig, only to find out it doesn't count.

It's pretty close, but no. That would be polychromatic, like sangued's. Maybe if you amped up the contrast though it'd be more monochromatic though.

I don't want to sound like a picky guy here, I'm just trying to get everyone to do something they aren't used to doing.

Ah, okay I get it. It's a good thing I did ask, because I was gonna do that. :P

Hmm, I've never done this kind of monochromatic art before, this defiantly will be a pain in the ass for me to do. Meh whatever, if it turns out too bad, I'll just grayscale it.
