MY DNA IS MADE UP OF ANIME
|
![]() Pic is unrelated. :)
I've noticed that taking an already perfectly beautiful piece of fanart and modifying it (either in color or shape) to fit into a usable signature has been somewhat stigmatized on SOTW as being lazy. I don't think it is at all - in fact, I use this technique a lot myself. NOTE: I'm not saying this is a crop-an-image theme - far from it. Do whatever you want to your signature, just refrain from using cleanly cut renders (some erasing around the edges should be ok). Have fun. Hopefully we get a couple of new entrants. |

Hmm, no drop shadow then to accent certain parts?
Thats the technique I've been using recently. I guess I'll just stick with gradients to add depth then. Yay! This is a chance to dig into another stylistic border! (Which reminds me that I have to edit my old sig to hold my current anime watching stats...) |

I don't use premade renders, just do them myself, but without rendering it will be hard to do the sig my usual style now... unless i find a good pic ;x |
