Signature of the Week #54: Close Up

Theme: Close Up (or extreme Close Up).
Rules: Focus on a single element/area. Head, eyes, lips, ears, hand, chest, hips, etc. etc. No full portrait shots unless it's in perspective and non-face areas are out of focus (better yet, no full portrait shots at all).
Due date: Sunday, May 15, 11PM EST.

Explanation:

This week's theme is the close up shot. If you're not familiar with film-making terminology, the closeup is a shot frame in which a single feature is captured. This could be the entire face, a hand, only a smile, a set of eyes, someones waist, etc. There is a shot called the medium closeup which includes a wider frame (including the shoulders with the head) but I'd like everyone to avoid this since it's what you use all the time anyways. Closeups and extreme closeups only.

I'd like you to find a feature you'd like to emphasize and make a signature around it. Whole head is ok, but you should try and do something you wouldn't do normally, so pick a smaller feature if you can.

For this theme, you're either going to have to find a readily zoomed in image, or find a huge image you can zoom in yourself. Good luck. close-up is a commonly used tag on the boors if you're having a hard time finding anything.

For what it's worth, my current signature would be on the margins, but acceptable. The arm is out of focus or in perspective, and the major area of focus is the face/eyes.

you people often make really good sigs for entries, but do all things the same(same size, same setting, same composition, similar background) just adding a little thing to somehow bend it to barely fit the theme and ask for mercy from sotw staff to allow it. that's boring.
i'm not exactly in the position to say it because i can't do such awesome sigs as some of you to begin with, but i try to make things differently every time, learn something new and catch an eye of the viewer with a different approach.
i even got some second places with cool ideas alone ;]
creativity is the key. try to use it ;)

yea, people kept posting screencaps on booru right after that ep aired. then started vectoring them. episodes 1-3 are full of shots like that. i got about 30-40 shots from those eps alone ^^ most of them would fit nicely this week.
some are even instant-cut-and-sig
