...okay I was completely off there thinking Gray would do well.
Well, guess it's standard for bad starts for the main teams in these kinds of things. But I'm sure Lucy'll win.
Or she'll lose and cause whoever fights next on her team to decimate the opponent.

And with this bet, I now have something to look forward to by arc's end :3

Memory Make...i can think of some pervert things with this kind of magic

And Flare vs Lucy...Lucy will win by miracle(some kind of sudden power-up) but the other chick seems to have some strong magic..the only i can think of is Fire Magic just from her name..

Well, three scenarios in my head for how this whole tournament will turn out, and one of them includes the complete interruption of the entire thing, for whatever reason the author can conjure up. Be it the "mysterious secret", or 'dat massive dragon coming for his regular rape session. I personally hope for the latter.
Classical, but 'salright.
In any case, Fairy Tail will probably regain its honor regardless.

But I'm kinda confused on one thing... "everyone" knows Fairy Tail was weak because the core members vanished.
"Everyone" knows the core members are back.
Why is "everyone" still mocking Fairy Tail?

The other cliche possibility for this arc is that FT does poorly in all the matches until near the end, either the dark guild or #1 guild try to drop some bomb. FT then rises together as an entire guild and overcomes.
