Just occurred to me. Probably brush it off and that's it, but... and his wife? Would he tell her the secret? =0
Link wants to be oda's wife.

Nope, but I'd like to have a talk with her. With some truth serum involved.

They'd probably would actually just demand he pull strings within the industry(that they imagine are there) to get spoilers for Pretty Cure, which they are apparently bigger fans of, much to Oda's dismay.
And his wife did a lot of Cosplay of One Piece before they met(it was apparently how they actually met in the first place). If she ever asked that, it would probably be just to test him of sorts.

Something I've pondered, about a lot of authors with long-running series actually:
What if they die?
Like really, Kubo stabs him in the head or something with a pen in jealous fury, and Oda dies.
What of the rest of the story?
Does he have a rough version written down somewhere? If so, is there some system or will of some sort in place to either let us know, or to have it sworn that it never be known?
Obviously, the thought horrifies me. Never getting to know the end is something I would never get over.

I'm kind of reminded of Peanuts.

Charles M. Schulz died in his sleep of a heart attack the night after that strip went into print.

If not to fulfill my desire for closure in this imagined scenario, then at least to stem the tide of shitty fucking fanfics that try to "end the story" themselves.

Unless the great O died, I would never want any sort of spoilers before Oda got the illustrate the conclusion himself.
Where would the fun in that be?
Also, considering the actual properties of truth serum, your comment could be taken as you implying that you'd want to do something... different...rape

Pretty Cure? Your father is Eiichiro Motherfucking Oda and you watch Pretty Cure? If I were these kids' classmate I'd gladly become a bully.

Also, I'm just kidding here, I wouldn't want any spoilers either before the end of my travel through One Piece. You know the moment when Usopp was asking about Raftel and the One Piece and such and Luffy quickly told (shouted) him to stfu - well, I applaud that and am of the exact same opinion. I'll follow my own adventure and find everything out for myself, at its due time!

But... yeah... whenever I imagine Oda dying any of these days, I die a little inside. Hopefully he and us all won't have that terrible luck.

And NO! I shall stay true to my waifu/gf. Also God's relatives are not to be touched.

Honestly, during the whole Japan disaster thing, I was afraid that Masashi Kishimoto or Oda might have died and how NOT okay that would be. I think at the very least, they would write out the ending and/or the rest of the storyline and put it somewhere only accessible upon their death. After that whole natural disaster thing, I bet that gave them a wake-up call on the possibility as well.

I'd never want to be spoiled of the ending. I'll let it come to me and be blown away amazingly.

It's not like natural disasters are anything new to Japan.
And since Oda works with Shonen Jump, I guess we can assume that he lives in Tokyo.
Even his place of birth, the Kumamoto prefecture, is on the complete opposite side from where last year's disaster was.
'sfar as I remember, Tokyo was barely affected by the disaster.

By the way, what's up with the huge amount of left-handed people in One Piece?

Ah, really? I guess I didn't need to worry so much (you know, aside from the Japanese that WERE affected).
Who's left-handed? Maybe it's a reflection of the times since they used to say left-handed people were possessed by the devil

This week's chapter

This chapter was swell. And those apples... it would seem there's quite the possible twist to the story ahead.
Now I simply worry about Nanji and Usopp. Sami sure is good at keeping up with Brook and Zoro, considering the body. Nami is going to have problems moving once this is over.

I wonder what's up with those apples. o_O
Maybe it's just an ability of that particular devil fruit.

Anyways, I thought it was cute to see chopper hiding for the first time in who knows how many chapters/arcs. :)
