Also I've been waiting for ages for Doflamingo to do something major. He's the only Shichibukai we don't know much about, promotes the arrival of a New Pirate Era which puts a stop to chasing dreams, owns the Auction House at Shabaody, is able to manipulate people at will, is working together in the shadows with people from the upper echelons in the government (maybe Gorousei)... He's SO damn promising.


And... it seems Moria might still be alive. I don't care much about him, but perhaps we'll learn something about Kaidou from him. Also if he's not a Shichibukai anymore then that's yet another vacant place the government has had to cover.

There's no reason he can't toss in a historical arc at some point. He already did in part w/ the Sabo arc.

He definitely will. Roger knew everything about the Void Century and for some reason was also able to read phoneglyphs. Will be totally relevant when the story heads right into that.

My guess is we might see more of his tattoos.

I don't see any reason he wouldn't look the same as always. It was only 2 years, and adults don't change nearly as quickly as teens.

Yeah but, Oda gave every one of the protagonists a new look, what about the antagonists?

I think Akainu will merely have a change of uniform. But if there were any new additions to his design, please let them not be a moustache.
