Has anyone read this before, I have not seen the magna been published to the western world

Yeah, It's out in the states, as well as the off-shoot "Angelic Days"

It's in Sweden too, even translated. To make a manga of the series feels a bit like milking though; as I doubt there is very little a manga can add to what the series didn't without deviating too far and no longer being true of the anime.

The manga has the same characters and basic events, but changes and adds a few things here and there. It is definitely a bit of a retelling rather than a strait adaptation.

Also I'm going to move these posts to the manga thread since none are about the anime.

I know I've read some of it in the past, but I don't remember anything of it. Guess you can interpret that many ways.

Also, don't forget that Western world does not equal just US and Canada. There are a lot of manga published in the EU (ESPECIALLY France) that never made it stateside. One of the biggest examples for me, as this is one of my favorite manga of all time, is Sing Yesterday For Me. Hell, there are some that consider Japan part of the Western World as it is very developed (especially by those who delineate East and West by developing and developed) and has a very strong Western flavor to it, regardless of the homebrew Japanese flavor too.

Don't forget the one based off of the Princess Maker games too. I think it's similar to Iron Maiden (Angelic Days). I think it's kind of like Higurashi in that it resets every time the story with one girl is done, but I don't know. Never read it.

Good lord no one has posted here in a minute O.o

Well Angelic Days is only a 6 book series that just follows a faster less mind **** version of NGE in the alternate universe shown in the last episode of Evangelion.

As for the NGE manga, anyone know where they are in releasing of the rest of the story? I have 1-10 and last I checked there wasn't any word on the next ones. Anyone know anything?
